EVLovesNYC is seeking a part time fundraising professional who is mission driven and able to independently develop strategies for a growing food insecurity organization to secure grant funding, improve engagement with individual donors, and expand relationships with corporate volunteer work groups. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in a development adjacent role within a nonprofit organization. The position can be completed fully remote, although occasional visits to our Lower Manhattan kitchen and other in-person meetings are encouraged and preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Alongside the Executive Director and various committees, create and bring to life a long-term vision for fundraising, development, and grant funding for EV LOVES NYC, including operational and financial goals and objectives.
  • Establish and attend all regular Development Committee meetings as scheduled (generally 4–6 per calendar year). Provide the Board of Directors and its various committees with regular updates and recommendations.
  • Engage with various entities and reporting requirements surrounding contracts with NYC Office of Emergency Management or associated subcontractors.
  • Centralize fundraising and development communications to keep EVLovesNYC’s message, work, and vision focused and consistent across all platforms.
  • Develop a grant strategy for various EVLovesNYC programs that allows allocation of restricted funds to further support the organization’s mission.
