Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Writer to join our team. As a Writer at CGCN Group you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling narratives, persuasive messaging, and informative content to support our clients' objectives. You will collaborate with our partners and subject matter experts to develop content for various platforms, including press releases, op-eds, speeches, website copy, and social media. Actual title and salary will be commensurate with experience.


Responsibilities:


  • Research and write high-quality content tailored to the needs and objectives of our clients.
  • Develop clear and concise messaging that effectively communicates complex issues to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with partners and clients to understand priorities, goals, and target audiences.
  • Stay informed about relevant news, trends, and developments in public policy and politics.
  • Assist with the development and execution of strategic communication plans and campaigns.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in writing and editing content for public affairs, government relations, or related fields.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and compelling narratives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with AP style, SEO best practices, and social media platforms is preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders and managing multiple projects is a plus.
