The Senate Budget Committee Minority Staff seeks a Digital Director to cultivate and build the Ranking Member’s digital presence across platforms. The Digital Director will run online outreach strategy through social media and web content. The Digital Director will assist the Communications Director and will work collaboratively to develop social media and web content that complements the Ranking Member’s traditional communications and tells his story to a wider online audience. Responsibilities will include developing an overall digital strategy, drafting content and posting to social media accounts, creating shareable infographics and video content, maintaining the Committee’s website, working with progressive partners and outside groups for message amplification, and using analytics to evaluate and evolve the office’s digital efforts. The ideal candidate will be a creative storyteller with the ability to drive the Ranking Member’s message, expand the audience, and drive the entire digital operation from idea generation to execution. Experience with Photoshop, Adobe, and Premiere Pro are preferred.
