231419 STATE SCHEDULER - HARTFORD, CT -
The Office of U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) seeks a State Scheduler in his Hartford, CT office. Successful candidates, in collaboration with the Deputy State Scheduler, will help manage all aspects of the Connecticut schedule, pro-actively responding to meeting and event requests, coordinating briefings for events on the schedule. The State Scheduler will brief the Senator on all Connecticut scheduling options, respond to all invitations, and will also coordinate and prepare congratulatory letters, certificates, grant letters, and other correspondences on behalf of the Senator. Previous administrative, executive support, advance work, or operations experience required. Candidates must be a team player and able to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally with others; exercise discretion and independent judgment; maintain timely and detailed information; have working knowledge of office computer applications; meet tight timeframes and operate in a fast-paced environment; and demonstrate the ability to work long hours and weekends.
