Senior Republican Senator seeks detail-oriented, highly organized, and professional individual to serve as Director of Special Projects. This position is not entry level and requires the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Primary duties include providing scheduling and administrative support to the Senator, Chief of Staff, and Scheduler; tracking the daily flow of meetings and communications for the Senator; coordinating events and projects for the Senator and staff including Inauguration ticket management; managing the Internship Program; serving as the Emergency Coordinator for the office and providing administrative support to the Deputy Chief of Staff.  Ideal candidates should also have strong written and oral communication skills, be able to exercise sound judgment and discretion, be professional at all times, and be available to work long hours when necessary. Prior Hill scheduling experience is preferred. Salary commensurate with experience. Please submit a cover letter, resume and two short writing samples to senate_employment@saa.senate.gov indicating the job referral number in the subject line. 230912
