Summary:  The Graphic Design and Brand Coordinator will create assets and deliverables for promoting the programs, events, and campaigns of the Park, as well as internal organizational needs for maintaining brand standards. Additionally, the Graphic Design and Brand Coordinator will manage the organization’s photo inventory, website, and serve as the team lead for digital and print content. This role will contribute to social-media content ensuring consistent usage of brand guidelines across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.

  • Design dynamic, high-performing graphics and collateral for all Park platforms and communication channels promoting Park events, facilities, and programming, including direct mail, digital assets, eblasts, presentations, donor solicitation packets, flyers, brochures, invitations, posters, and postcards
  • Adhere to established brand and style guidelines, while supporting staff in ensuring brand identity is maintained  
  • Create new event logos and brand standards/guidelines when needed
  • Manage vendor and advertiser relationships and collaborate with external printers to meet printing needs and deadlines
  • Collaborate on social media content, including static and video, to ensure City Park Conservancy’s tone and brand is consistent
  • Create attractive emails for internal and external communications
  • Build strong relationships with all departments to understand and execute marketing needs and develop requested graphic needs, along with easy-to-use templates for internal use throughout the organization
  • Brainstorm large-scale campaigns and support copywriting efforts
  • Manage City Park Conservancy’s website, making frequent content and systems updates and developing appealing new pages as needed
  • Manage Google Analytics and other tracking platforms to report on digital impressions and provide data on campaigns
  • Organize and maintain digital photo/video database
  • Represent the agency at special events
  • Assist organization with other tasks as needed

Education and/or Experience:

  • Extensive experience with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and the full Adobe suite
  • Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with email platforms such as Constant Contact
  • Familiarity with digital-fundraising platforms
  • Professional graphic-design experience creating digital imagery as well as flyers, postcards, posters, and brochures
  • Proven experience with digital marketing of programs and events
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to take direction and work independently
  • Ability to shoot and edit photographs and video a plus
  • Solutions oriented and highly organized
  • Strong belief in, and a deep commitment to, the mission of City Park Conservancy
  • Some evening and weekend work required
  • A valid Louisiana driver’s license
