Research Associate


The Research Associate (intern) is responsible for supporting the team in monitoring developments on key policy and regional issues and developing client deliverables. The Research Associate will learn our consulting processes and approaches, including contributing to research and analysis of various policy issues, drafting briefings, reports, updates and other materials, and support our team in the execution of these processes for clients.


Representative Responsibilities

  • Support the team on day-to-day client management and issue monitoring.
  • Conduct research, and support material development, including outlining content, writing, editing, and proofreading materials.
  • Assist in research tasks like analyzing media and online conversations, and tracking legislative and policy developments.
  • Provide client service support, including compiling client status and activity reports, actively participating in meetings and conference calls.
  • Coordinate projects and events, including supporting content development, outreach to participants, and logistics.
  • Support thought leadership development and content calendar creation.
  • Participate in the new business process, including research, audits, and preparation of proposals.
  • Provide administrative support for the team, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous internship experience in international relations, public affairs, government relations, or communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience or relevant coursework.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and emerging AI tools.
