A progressive New England senator seeks a Press Assistant to work with a fast-paced communications team. Primary responsibilities include compiling daily press clips, transcribing interviews, drafting social media content, creating graphics and editing videos, updating the website, and managing communications interns. This position requires attention to detail and strong prioritization skills. The ideal candidate is a team player who is excited to learn while working in a dynamic, policy-focused environment. Previous internship or work experience on Capitol Hill or a political campaign is preferred but not required. This job is based in Washington, DC.
