Job Description

Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Minority and Office of Senator Rand Paul seeks an Archivist. This position will report to both offices and be charged with appraising, arranging, and processing all records, including an extensive backlog. Further, this position will maintain thorough catalogs of Committee and Personal Office documents for review by appropriate staff. The successful candidate will be proactive in developing and implementing effective systems for cataloging records that comply with applicable Senate rules for each organization. Ability to work independently and confidentially is extremely important. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Senate and knowledge of Senate and Committee policies and procedures. Previous experience working with an ediscovery platform is a plus.
