Job Description

The Ford Agency is actively working with a top DC law firm in their search for a Policy professional to join their busy team! This individual will work with a variety of clients on a number of policy areas (healthcare, foreign relations, finance, energy, etc.). This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a diverse policy portfolio looking to contribute to a team in a fast-paced environment!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and implement strategic advocacy plans on a wide range of policy issues

  • Communicate with clients and internal teams

  • Stay up to date with legislation and regulations

  • Assist with special projects



Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3+ years of policy experience

  • Experience on the Hill, trade associations, or corporate government relations

  • Experience managing and mentoring staff

  • Professional communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills



Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
