As a Communications Professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization’s desired reputation. We’re looking for an experienced Communications Specialist like you, who is ready to grow and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you’ll advance your consulting skills to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports projects within the Aerospace account such supporting strategic transformation initiatives across the Air Force to drive resiliency and belonging among Airmen and Guardians.

As a Communications Specialist on our team, you’ll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will shape and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to translate messages using the power of words, images, sounds, and animation.

As a collaborator on all aspects of oral and written communications, you’ll author fact sheets, create talking points, and advise on all aspects of communication formats to ensure clarity and accuracy of messaging. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound with tools like Adobe Illustrator, Storyline, Articulate, Microsoft Suite, and Adobe InDesign.

You Have:

  • Experience with summarizing and synthesizing findings in a written document

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Associate's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working in strategic planning, strategic communications, or process improvement

  • Knowledge of government or military organizational structures

  • Ability to apply excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Communication Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
