The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (Majority Office) is seeking applications for a paid in-person communications internship for Fall 2024. Responsibilities include assisting with daily press clips, compiling news research, creating digital/social media content, drafting media advisories and press releases, and helping maintain press contact lists.

This position requires attention to detail, creativity, strong writing ability and grammar skills, and a passion for political communications and the environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and/or Adobe suites, as well as familiarity with social media, is preferred. Undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates, and individuals of diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. The Committee values diversity, equity and inclusion, and strongly encourages candidates of diverse backgrounds to apply.
