Job Description

Representative Derek Kilmer’s (WA-06) Washington, D.C. office has an immediate need for a personable, diligent full-time intern.

Interns play an important role in our Washington D.C. office, researching legislation for Rep. Kilmer and his staff, attending hearings and briefings, drafting responses to letters and emails from constituents, as well as administrative tasks to help out around the office. Not only do interns get to become a key part of our fast-paced team, they have the opportunity to learn more about the legislative process and see up close how their government works. This is a great opportunity for recent grads. To apply, please send a resume and cover letter outlining your interest in the position to hayden.davis@mail.house.gov. Folks with Washington state ties are strongly encouraged to apply. We look forward to hearing from you!
