U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Administrative Director to oversee the office’s administrative and operational functions. The Administrative Director plays a key role in managing the office’s financial, personnel, and facility-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all office accounts, including billing, payroll, and mail operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist the Chief of Staff in developing and maintaining the office’s annual budget.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures, including the Official Office Manual, as well as oversee compliance with all human resources requirements.
  • Maintain and update personnel records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the Architect of the Capitol, Superintendent of the Senate, Sergeant at Arms, and other departments to address facility issues in Washington, D.C., and Wisconsin.
  • Serve as the Office Emergency Coordinator, ensuring staff preparedness for emergencies.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience as an Administrative Manager or Director (or equivalent role).
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets and overseeing administrative operations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
