Latino Coalition Manager

Job Location: Philadelphia, PA

Reports to: Political and Coalitions Director

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party is seeking a talented Latino Coalition Manager for the 2024 general election. The ideal candidate is committed to the mission of electing President Biden, Vice President Harris, Senator Bob Casey and Democrats up and down the ballot.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage PA’s Latino coalition program statewide.

  • Lead on all programmatic elements of the coalition program.

  • Lead in setting strategic planning processes for coalitions programs.

  • Create and sustain management systems that support the team to achieve results.

  • Spearhead efforts to advance the coalitions’ priorities of the Biden-Harris campaign.

  • Evaluate success, manage challenges, recommend changes.

  • Foster a climate that encourages and sustains excellence and optimizes results, by creating inclusive processes that facilitate collaboration among P&C staff.

  • Ensure cogent and transparent information sharing to promote alignment of efforts across the organization, especially with the communications and organizing leadership, and clear and consistent reporting on efforts and results.

  • Model proactive problem-solving and mutual accountability for outcomes between staff and management.

  • Effectively engage the campaign’s significant reach with diverse external stakeholders to maximize the campaign’s influence and impact and ensure the campaign stays accountable to its mission to win.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working on/in political campaigns, community organizing, government or related fields

  • Experience training, supporting, and managing staff/volunteers in an electoral or community engagement capacity

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities (with an emphasis on attention to details)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

This role is a full time, in person role located in Philadelphia, PA.
