Summary

This position is located in Refugee, Asylum and International Operations Directorate, Asylum Division, Brick and Mortar.

As Chief of Staff, you will oversee administrative operations and serve as a representative of an Asylum Division Brick and Mortar District on matters pertaining to the strategic mission.

Duties

Provides leadership and supervision for a staff that is charged with the overall management of administrative operations and programs effecting Asylum Operations.

Plans, directs, and executes liaison activities to effectively communicate with stakeholders on critical agency-wide initiatives.

Develops, implements, and resolves complex policies and procedures consistent with the goals of the Asylum Division.

Provides authoritative guidance in the resolution of complex problems or issues impacting the Asylum program and other major CIS programs.

Leads, develops and manages a high performing, diverse workforce, and ensures employment practices are administered in a fair and equitable manner.
