Senator-elect Lisa Blunt Rochester seeks a Staff Assistant for her Washington, D.C. office. The Staff Assistant’s primary responsibilities include staffing and managing the front office, including answering phones, greeting visitors, coordinating tours, and assisting with other administrative duties as assigned. Reporting to the Administrative Director, the Staff Assistant will also respond to various constituent inquiries, supervise interns, and assist the legislative team with drafting letters as needed. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, dependable, collaborative, and adept at juggling multiple competing tasks and timelines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must and Delaware ties are strongly preferred.
