Press/Digital Assistant

Press/Digital Assistant – Congressman John Garamendi (CA-08), Ranking Member on the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Readiness and senior member on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, seeks a motivated, energetic individual with experience in digital media to join a fast-paced, detail-oriented team that works closely with the Member, Communications Director, and legislative staff. Candidates must possess strong writing, editing, graphic, and video abilities to draft daily social media posts, manage the office’s e-newsletter program, and help with press releases, franking materials, briefings, and speeches. 

This position manages multiple digital media accounts, and requires strong, creative production and design skills. Capitol Hill experience, California ties and database management skills are a plus.
