The office of U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) is seeking a proactive and highly organized communications professional to join their Washington, D.C. team. Ideal candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in congressional communications or public affairs and be capable of prioritizing multiple assignments on short deadlines. This mid-level communications team member, who reports to the Communications Director, must possess strong written and oral communications skills, and maintain a keen attention to detail. This position will be primarily responsible for drafting written material, including regular op-eds, press releases, newsletters, talking points, and targeted outreach. This is not an entry-level position. Successful candidates will be adaptive self-starters with an eye for strategic communication. Title and compensation are commensurate with experience.
