Job Description
The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) - a bipartisan, bicameral committee established by Congress every four years to plan and conduct the Inaugural Ceremonies at the U.S. Capitol - seeks a Communications Director. The JCCIC Communications Director will be a senior position responsible for communications and media strategy, planning, and execution for the 2025 Inaugural Ceremonies, as well as media logistics. This role will manage additional JCCIC communications staff and work in close coordination with the JCCIC Chair and other JCCIC staff, in addition to coordinating with JCCIC Members and their offices, the media galleries, and the Presidential Inaugural Committee. The ideal candidate will have significant experience, exceptional writing and communications skills, a strong work ethic, and an outstanding ability to produce top quality materials in a fast-paced environment.
