Campaign Manager

A Texas Democrat is seeking a qualified campaign manager to oversee their 2020 U.S. Senate campaign. Qualified applicants should send their resume to TXDemSenate2020JobPosting@gmail.com, along with a cover letter.

The ideal applicant will have at least one cycle of management experience at a statewide or congressional level with additional campaign work experience. The campaign will be based out of Houston, Texas.

Qualifications:

- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a diverse staff and consultant team

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Highly organized and detail-oriented

- Previous experience creating and managing a campaign budget in excess of $1,000,000

- Access to reliable transportation

- Ability to work non-traditional hours

- Experience working with paid media firms (T.V., Mail, Digital).

- Experience working with polling firms

- Experience working with coordinated party campaigns-preferred

Responsibilities:

- Write and execute a statewide campaign plan and budget

- Write and execute a statewide finance plan in concert with finance director

- Work with a consulting team to execute a winning strategy

- Assemble and lead a campaign team

- Maintain clear and open lines of communication with the candidate

- Execute all day-to-day campaign operations as needed

Salary is commensurate with experience.
