Position: Campaign Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA (District 1- Upper West Side)
Type: Part-Time/Full-Time (flexible based on candidate availability)
Compensation: $40-$100/hr (experience and qualification based, will be competitive pay)
About the Campaign:
We’re a grassroots political campaign in San Francisco’s Upper West Side, committed to championing community safety, sustainable transportation, and health equity. Our candidate, Jen Nossokoff, is a dedicated healthcare professional, public school parent, and advocate for the vibrant and diverse community in District 1. With a growing base of support, we’re looking for a talented Campaign Manager to help us drive the campaign to victory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall campaign strategy, ensuring alignment with the candidate’s platform and goals.
- Manage day-to-day campaign operations, including coordinating volunteers, overseeing events, and handling communications.
- Organize and manage fundraising efforts, including online campaigns, events, and donor outreach.
- Collaborate with the candidate to craft key messaging, press releases, and social media content.
- Analyze voter data and polling to refine campaign strategies and target outreach efforts effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal election laws.
Qualifications:
- Current university student or recent graduate with a background in Political Science, Communications, Public Policy, or related field.
- Previous experience in political campaigns, community organizing, or leadership roles is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
- Passion for local politics and a deep commitment to the values of the campaign.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
