Deputy Digital Director for Fundraising

About the Role: Bob Casey for Senate is seeking an individual to join a growing digital team as our Deputy Digital Director for Fundraising who will work with the Digital Director to develop and oversee the online fundraising program.

This role will work with vendors and other campaign departments to manage day-to-day digital fundraising operations, set and reach programmatic goals, and identify and implement new fundraising tactics and strategies. They will report to the Digital Director.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Digital Director to calculate and track evolving digital fundraising projections, and identify growth opportunities
• Work with the digital firm to coordinate content calendars across digital fundraising verticals (email, SMS, ads), facilitate digital fundraising approvals, and provide additional capacity to write and produce emails as needed
• Oversee our digital partner program, including working to coordinate partner sends, drafting surrogate fundraising copy, and working with Digital Director to manage relationships with political partners
• Work with digital director, digital fundraising firm, and team to manage and grow the campaign's SMS programs including broadcast and P2P
• Design optimization tests for our lists and analyze performance to improve our digital fundraising strategy
• Identify ideas for new, innovative digital fundraising campaigns, including rapid response opportunities
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2+ cycles of experience writing fundraising and producing emails and SMS texts for a campaign, advocacy organization, or non-profit (“cycle” can mean primaries, specials, etc.);
• Prior working experience with ActBlue, HTML, and ActionKit or similar CRM;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Attention to detail and enthusiasm for data-driven processes;
• Dedication to being a team player and trying new things.
• Access to cell phone and laptop

Logistics:

• Level: Deputy
• Salary Band: $6000+, commensurate with experience
• Location: Philadelphia
• Benefits: Medical, dental vision plan at no premium upon meeting plan eligibility requirements
• Leave: Paid time off will be available per Campaign policy.
• Hours: Full-time position. This position's schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
