Data-Driven Project Manager

Founded in 2004, BME Strategies is a Massachusetts-based consulting firm specializing in providing Public Health design and implementation programming for local, regional, and state governments.

Utilizing efficient project management skills along with survey design, data analysis, visualization, and technical writing, this individual will design and implement efficient evaluation processes. Responsibilities include creating training materials, providing technical assistance, and ensuring consistent, high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, a strategic thinker, and an excellent communicator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Management: Lead comprehensive project management efforts, including effective communication with partners, task management, and timely project delivery.
  • Process Development: Ability to think through complicated processes and develop simple, efficient solutions.
  • Advanced Excel: Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting (including Power Query, Power Pivot, data consolidation, transforming data, data validation.).
  • Data Management: Ensure version control and maintain high data quality standards.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide support and create training materials (slides, cheat sheets, documents).
  • Technical Writing: Prepare technical documentation for publications and create content for lay audiences via newsletters and other communication streams.
  • Survey Design: Design, manage, and quality-check survey responses.
  • Tableau Updates: Create and update Tableau dashboards for data visualization and reporting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in public health, data science, statistics, or a related field are required. 

A successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in project management, data analysis, survey design, or evaluation. They will possess advanced skills in Excel and Tableau, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have a track record of balancing multiple tasks, showcasing exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience in a consulting environment and familiarity with public health initiatives are highly desirable.
