The location in Fort Mill, (South Carolina, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Public Affairs Coordinator. This job is full-time permanent.

A dynamic team player who works independently performing a wide range of complex and confidential duties to support the U.S. public affairs team with their policy and advocacy efforts on a diverse range of issues. Responsible for coordinating key functions for the company political action committee (PAC) and federal, state, and regional government/public affairs work. Communicates with and coordinates services with an extensive list of internal and external contacts. Anticipates and resolves problems and updates team on status of projects.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Political Action Committee Project Coordination
  • Review and coordinate campaign event schedules to create Washington, DC itinerary.
  • Prepare briefing papers for meetings with Members of Congress.
  • Organize employee database and prepare materials for solicitation campaign.
  • Review PAC Match participants, designated organizations, and coordinate funding.
  • Assist with preparation of other PAC materials such as the Annual Report, program presentations and PAC updates to eligible employees.
Public Affairs Support
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, etc. for the public affairs team.
    • Quarterly public affairs report
    • Mill Fact sheets
    • Interactive public affairs legislative map
  • Maintain public affairs budget and process invoices.
  • Maintain extensive contact and facilities lists.
  • Maintain filing system for contracts and invoices.
  • Arrange meeting details.
  • Arrange and troubleshoot IT issues with team.
  • Assist with US lobby filings as needed.

You will be required to successfully complete a selection process that could include interviews, an employment background check, a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, reference verifications, aptitude tests (for some positions), and a fitness-for-duty test (for some positions).
