Job Description
A mid-sized, bipartisan lobbying firm is seeking an organized and proactive individual for an in-person internship. Duties will include:
- Listening to congressional hearings and federal agency meetings and producing summaries and analysis of the events.
- Conducting issue-based research on matters of interest to the firm’s clients, including health, trade, tax, energy, transportation, native affairs, and government contracting.
- Researching daily press clips for internal distribution amongst lobbyists related to client activities.
- Event planning for fundraisers and other events at the firm.
- Answering phones and assisting with other clerical duties as assigned.
Hours for the internship position are typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
