U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) seeks part-time or full-time Spring 2025 law clerks. Law clerks will support the Senator’s policy and investigative work in his Judiciary Committee portfolio. Primary responsibilities include researching and writing legal memos and briefs, drafting and editing oversight letters, assisting staff with preparation for meetings and hearings, supporting staff with administrative assignments, and other duties as assigned. Law clerks will work closely with the Senator’s staff on all issues under the Committee’s jurisdiction. Candidates must be exceptionally strong writers, detail-oriented, self-starters, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in investigations, such as working for an oversight committee or as a prosecutor, is a plus. Georgia ties preferred but not required. Candidates must be current law students or recent law school graduates. This position is not paid, but the Office can coordinate with fellowship or external funding opportunities identified by potential clerks.
