Job Description

Orpheus Chamber Orchestra seeks an organized, data-driven, collaborative Patron Services Coordinator with excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and foster customer relationships. This part time position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications. The ideal candidate has experience with Customer Relations Management services or ticketing events (we use Spektrix), income and expense tracking, and is confident running reports and managing data. People skills are a must, as this position is the first point of contact for our patrons.


Responsibilities

Patron Services

  • Subscription servicing, including the monitoring of sales initiatives and the administration of subscriber benefits
  • Process and fulfill all subscription orders in Spektrix CRM system
  • Fulfill subscription ticket exchanges, donations, and additional purchases


Ticketing

  • Communicate with Carnegie Hall and 92Y Box Offices
  • Handle VIP ticketing for board members, donors, and subscribers
  • Coordinate Group Sales ticketing


Income and Expense Tracking

  • Track earned income revenue from subscriptions and single tickets
  • Provide information for and participate in regular income and expense reconciliations with Finance department
  • Track Marketing Department expenses and process invoices


Marketing Data & Insights

  • Create weekly Spektrix reports to measure customer activity
  • Organize and segment existing customer data
  • Create reports from subscription and box office data
  • Maintain patron records


Concert Duty

  • Attend events throughout the season, representing Orpheus in an official capacity, assisting with ticketing and patron services.


Other

  • Liaise with Spektrix IT support
  • This position works in close collaboration with the Director of Marketing & Communications and will be required to assist with marketing and ticketing tasks as assigned.


Availability Requirements

This is a part-time position, with hours scheduled Monday through Friday as well as occasional evening and weekend hours.

The Patron Services Coordinator must be available during the following dates, as they play a critical role in supporting our events and ensuring a seamless experience for our patrons:

  • September 23-28
  • November 4-7
  • February 24 - March 1
  • May 12-17


Compensation:

  • The hourly rate for this position is $23.
