Our Trust & Safety Policy Team is dedicated to maintaining our Community Guidelines to help keep our users safe and promote a trusted and inclusive user experience. They work tirelessly to understand user behaviors and create meaningful protections against harmful activity.

We are looking for a Trust & Safety Policy Analyst to support our growing Policy Team. In this role, you will help us develop, maintain, and implement our Trust & Safety policies. We are looking for someone with an analytic mindset ready to delve into the minute details of user behavior and provide recommendations to ensure we are always improving. Positivity and attention to detail are a must. If you are a team player with a passion for policy, we want to hear from you.

It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of ongoing work, in response to escalation requests, or by chance. Topics may include physical/sexual harms, hateful or harassing content, child safety, and similar areas.

Where you’ll work:

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration two days per week. This position is located in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and/or Palo Alto, CA.

In this role you will:

  • Analyze existing policies and guidelines to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or conflicts
  • Conduct efficacy reviews to determine whether the policies are applied properly
  • Identify and fill knowledge gaps
  • Support the development of new policies, including researching policy topics
  • Work with cross-functional partners to implement changes and manage feedback from operations teams
  • Be a subject matter expert in assigned policies
  • Stay up to date with recent trends in content policy and moderation


  • We’re looking for:

  • 2-3 years of Trust & Safety experience
  • Experience in developing and/or improving content policies
  • Record of successful project management
  • Strong attention to detail, highly self-driven, and results oriented
  • Proven ability to use collect, synthesize, analyze, and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Experience working with, influencing, and negotiating with a broad array of stakeholders
  • Organized and comprehensive communicator

  • $75,000 - $90,000 a year

    The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary range is reflective of a position based in California. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
