Inclusiv seeks a Capital Analyst who will be a key member of the Investment team responsible for analyzing data and developing insights for fund management and product development.  This position will be responsible for contributing to investment analysis, data requests, industry impact trends analysis and other programmatic support as needed.   This position will be based at our New York City headquarters and report to the Senior Vice President of Capital, Investments and Impact.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with both qualitative and quantitative data, with demonstrated experience with financial analysis and synthesizing complex information into practical insights.  The Capital Analyst will enjoy working collaboratively across multi-functional teams, has experience with process improvement and project management, and demonstrated interest in strengthening inclusive communities.  

Financial and Data Analysis 

  • Prepare financial analysis and develop other insights for internal assessment and external industry trends to develop best practices and products to advance Inclusiv’s mission and strategic goals. 
  • Work with the SVP in designing and conducting evaluations of internal portfolios and industry trends. 
  • Fulfill data requests for investee due diligence and underwriting and preparation of materials for investors and stakeholders.
  • Produce data visualizations and contribute to reports and presentations for internal assessments and external communications. 
  • Work with Inclusiv/Capital team to produce quarterly investor and industry trends report.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Manage and maintain various data assets for program: 
  • Update reports and datasets used for industry and program analysis. 
  • Collaborate with Impact Investment Officer on CDCU investee reporting and analysis.
  • Provide reports as needed for portfolio monitoring, compliance, product development and planning. 
  • Support programmatic administration and relationship management with members, borrowers, and investors:
  • Working with the Inclusiv/Capital team to support portfolio management, product development, compliance and reporting.

Program and Organization

The Inclusiv/Capital Analyst may be required to assist with the programmatic administration, compliance reporting and member engagement as necessary, including: 

  • Engaging in strategic planning and goal setting for department
  • Providing regular reporting to SVP as needed; support the development of publications by delivering research; Participating on funder briefing calls and in preparing presentations
  • Participating in weekly staff meetings; support team as needed.

Required Skills and Experience 

  • Commitment to Inclusiv’s mission to help low- and moderate-income people and communities achieve financial independence.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience with financial or data analysis.   
  • Detail oriented, analytical mindset and experience working with large financial and other datasets. Experience with managing large data sets, financial modeling, sensitivity analysis and stress testing a plus. 
  • Strong and effective communication, analytical and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex findings into practical insights. 
  • Experience with relationship management and working with diverse communities. 
  • Project management and process improvement experience.  
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and across departments within a mission-driven work environment. 
  • Ability to bring clarity, structure and discipline to complex projects.
  • Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Word, Excel & PowerPoint required. Experience with Tableau preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce and CRM platforms preferred.
  • High level of integrity, personal organization and flexibility.
  • Dynamic, self-starter with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize task completion in alignment with strategic goals.
  • Authorized to work in the US.

Salary:  The salary range for this position starts at $80,000 annually.  We will consider a higher salary for candidates with more experience.
