Position: Director, Communications
Location: Washington, DC/Hybrid
Reports to: Senior Vice President, Communications
Are you a personable and creative communications media professional who enjoys working with reporters and has an innate ability to read the room?
Come join the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the voice of America’s local television and radio stations and broadcast networks, in our nation’s capital. They are seeking a Director of Communications to join the Public Affairs team.

As the Director of Communications, you will manage media relations efforts pertaining to public policy and NAB initiatives. You will prepare messaging, news releases, promotional materials, and other content for dissemination to news media. This position reports to the SVP of Communications.
Qualified candidates offer:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of related experience, including on-the-record media experience
- Familiarity with the press & ability to build & maintain relationships with reporters
- Excellent writing, research, and communications skills
- Capitol Hill and/or agency experience preferred
