Job Description
The Office of Senator Elissa Slotkin is seeking an experienced Speechwriter to serve in the Washington, DC office. The Speechwriter will be responsible for drafting written remarks for Senator Slotkin, including floor speeches, public remarks, questions in Congressional hearings, op-eds, and other public statements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of policy issues, a talent for plainspoken storytelling, and the ability to capture Senator Slotkin’s voice and vision in written form. This position requires excellent research skills, political acumen, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is based in Washington, DC.
