Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Director of Campaigns to lead our organization's national campaign efforts. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing strategic campaigns that advance our mission and drive meaningful change.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive campaign strategies, including goals, timelines, and budgets.
Lead and manage a high-performing team of campaign staff and volunteers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with coalition partners, donors, and other key stakeholders.
Oversee campaign operations, including fundraising, communications, and field organizing.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Represent the organization at conferences, events, and public forums.
Stay informed of current political and social issues.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in electoral campaigns, legislative campaigns, or advocacy.
Proven leadership and management skills, including the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
Strong understanding of campaign tactics and strategies, including grassroots organizing, digital organizing, and media relations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Unwavering commitment to social justice and equity.
Fluency in Spanish a plus.
Proficiency in campaign technology and tools such as VAN, Mobilize, and Hustle.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
