Campaign Associate

Job Type: Part-Time or Contract. Combination of in-person and remote work.

Job Description:
An exciting opportunity awaits to join a dynamic political campaign for a Democratic candidate in the area. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Campaign Associate to support our efforts in creating meaningful change and engaging with the community. This position will be working in a fast-paced environment and will develop valuable skills in working with elected officials and political campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Attend meetings and events with the candidate, providing on-the-ground support.
• Prepare briefings and reports for the candidate and campaign team.
• Attend local Democratic Party functions to represent the campaign and build valuable connections.
• Take comprehensive notes during meetings and events.
• Capture photos at campaign events for use in social media and other communications.
• Assist in various day-to-day campaign activities, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
• Engage with community members and volunteers to promote campaign initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Strong commitment to Democratic values and principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Ability to stay organized with online platforms like Google Drive & Documents.
• Proficient in taking detailed notes, preparing concise briefings, and deciphering of essential information.
• Comfortable with attending public events and interacting with a diverse range of individuals.
• Basic photography skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in political campaigns or working with elected officials.
• Knowledge of local political landscape and community organizations.
• Familiarity with public policy and social media.

Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with preferred qualifications.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
