The Manager of Growth & Outreach spearheads the Mount Sinai Parenting Center’s efforts to scale our program to include a wide range of audiences in the healthcare space, in order to support our goal of ensuring our free resources reach healthcare providers nationwide who serve children and their families (hospitals, primary care providers, medical office managers, medical and provider training programs, nurse practitioners, and others). This is an integral member of our team who will execute and build on our marketing and outreach strategy. 

Background

The Mount Sinai Parenting Center’s mission is to transform the way pediatric healthcare is delivered by maximizing opportunities to promote strong parent-child relationships and early childhood development within everyday healthcare interactions. We create trainings, curricula, videos and resources for providers to use in healthcare moments with the goal of providing parents with the tools they need to foster optimal social, emotional and cognitive development in their children 0-5 years old.

Responsibilities

Marketing & Outreach

  • Develops and tests marketing campaigns for various audiences, including email campaigns, digital and social media marketing, and advertising
  • Develops targeted marketing materials and standardized presentations to connect with different audiences in the healthcare space 
  • Plans and implements marketing campaigns and outreach projects to meet recruiting objectives as outlined by the Parenting Center leadership team 
  • Coordinates in-person and virtual events and conferences; travels locally and domestically to engage in outreach activities on behalf of the Parenting Center 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Creates and builds on relationships with external organizations in support of marketing and outreach efforts 
  • Builds relationships with and manages ambassadors for the Parenting Center to expand our capacity to reach audiences nationwide 

Strategic Planning & Project Management

  • Executes a strategy for marketing and outreach to support the Parenting Center’s goals for scale and recruitment  
  • Collaborates with data and operations staff to test and evaluate marketing campaigns and strategies with different audiences, track metrics, and build data-driven approaches to marketing and outreach
  • Explores the needs and interests of different audiences in the healthcare space to make recommendations for the Parenting Center’s marketing and outreach strategy
  • Develops and presents recommendations for new and/or improved approaches to scale and recruitment 
  • Works closely with data & analytics manager to track metrics for marketing and outreach and build data-driven approaches to marketing and outreach 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, outreach, and/or community engagement 
  • Significant experience bringing products or programs to scale regionally or nationally 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce (or similar customer relationship management software) is required
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills; excels at public speaking

Salary Range 

$75,000 - $85,000 annually
