Summary
About the Position:
Serve as the principal administrative support services specialist in the areas of security (personnel and property management), Property Book Officer, Managment Internal Control Officer (MIC), Operational Representative Funds (ORF).
Duties
Analyze support services program requirements to develop long-range plans to support the various programs.
Prepare reports on program effectiveness to recommend enhancements, improvements and/or corrective action.
Perform security related services such as: initiating background investigations, processing paperwork to obtain building passes, and/or scheduling personnel for security briefings.
Coordinate with appropriate organizations responsible for providing resources to support program requirements.
Manage the agency's Management Internal Control Program (MICP) to assess and ensure compliance with regulations
Perform space management functions for office moves, renovations, and alterations to assigned spaces.
Evaluate the performance of contractors/suppliers to resolve issues pertaining to the following: acquisition, procurement, purchasing.
Conduct studies to identify improvements and resolve problems in supply and property management.
Manage the property book function using the Property Book Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) to add equipment to the property book.
Conduct extra duties as assigned regarding functions that involve Operational Representation Funds (ORF) and Command Government Credit Card Billing Official functions.
