Senator-elect Lisa Blunt Rochester seeks a highly motivated and experienced caseworker to serve as her Constituent Services Director (location flexibility in Delaware). Primary responsibilities include managing the team who handles constituent casework, ensuring that constituents receive prompt assistance; developing metrics to track and improve constituent services, maintaining and resolving a large docket of constituent casework; interacting with constituents and government agencies; and regularly working with local and state government to connect constituents to available resources. This position provides an opportunity to be part of a hard-working and results-oriented team and to make a difference in the lives of others. The ideal candidate has experience managing a team, is self-motivated, has exceptional customer service skills, is great at multitasking, has a strong desire to help people, and has excellent interpersonal and writing skills. Candidates with a background in social work, social services, or counseling are strongly preferred.
