Program Officer

Vietnamese Americans Services (VAS), Inc. is a nonprofit community development organization supporting the needs of underserved residents throughout Maryland. As we are rapidly expanding the number of services that we offer and community members that we assist daily, we are seeking a dedicated Program Officer to join our team.

The Program Officer will be responsible for:

- Assist with program activities, including in-person client case assistance and client advocacy;

- Provide linguistically accessible information and support related to assessments, verifying eligibility for beneficiaries;

- Assisting Program Manager with planning and preparation of program related activities, including workshops and events;

- Tracking client information for reporting purposes;

- Support other team members in other projects and assigned tasks as needed.

- No experience required, training will be provided

The ideal candidate will have:

- Fluency in Vietnamese and English;

- Eagerness to learn; and

- Passion for supporting the community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
