Role Overview: U.S. Geopolitical and Economic Analyst(Freelance, Remote, Part-Time)
ATD Consulting is seeking a highly skilled U.S. Geopolitical and Economic Analyst to join our team on a freelance and independent basis. The analyst will play a key role in conducting in-depth geopolitical research, analyzing global trends, and producing high-quality reports on U.S. domestic and foreign policy, economic and trade dynamics, technological developments, and security affairs.
This role requires exceptional analytical abilities, strong communication and writing skills, and a deep understanding of macroeconomic trends, fiscal and monetary policies, and their global implications. The analyst will work remotely, preparing reports on specific topics assigned by the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on U.S. geopolitical, political, economic, technological, and security developments, with a focus on economic policy, trade policy, energy markets, and global economic trends impacting U.S. industries.
- Provide strategic insights into emerging geopolitical and economic trends and their implications for U.S. policy and global stability.
- Analyze and synthesize complex datasets, integrating multiple sources of information to produce clear, concise, and actionable intelligence.
- Develop comprehensive reports and presentations, delivering well-structured findings tailored to client and internal needs.
- Monitor and interpret developments in U.S. international relations, assessing their broader implications for global markets and economic stability.
- Assess risks related to international conflicts, diplomatic relations, and security threats.
- Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations for businesses, investors, and policymakers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven expertise in geopolitical analysis, policy research, or intelligence assessment, with a strong ability to interpret data and craft high-level reports.
- Exceptional English writing and communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity, structure, and analytical depth.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Security Studies, or a related field.
- Experience in a policy, government, or international affairs role related to geopolitical analysis is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of global affairs, particularly U.S. economic policy, international trade, and macroeconomic trends.
