Duties

As a Supervisory Foreign Affairs Officer, you will perform the following duties:


Supervise and manage the activities of assigned foreign affairs specialists and the impact of their work to advance sustainable international fisheries.

Leads and provides technical expertise to determine the scope and direction of new or revised multilateral and bilateral agreements and other international cooperation and assistance.

Negotiate and implement sustainable international conservation and management measures for living marine resources through regional fisheries management organizations, regional partnerships, and other intergovernmental or interagency organizations.

Plan, distribute, and monitor work to be accomplished by subordinates; prioritizes and prepares schedules for the completion of work.
