Chairman Ted Cruz seeks an experienced conservative communications professional to join the Republican staff of the Senate Commerce Committee as Press Secretary. Key responsibilities include leading the committee’s efforts on social media, managing rapid response efforts for committee priorities, drafting talking points and prep materials for media hits, and handling reporter inquiries. Duties also include coordinating with other committees and congressional staff, executive branch agencies, industry, and trade associations.
