College Counselor

As our College Counselor, you will help our 11th and 12th grade scholars with the college application process so that they can successfully matriculate to a four-year university. Day to day, you will manage a caseload of students, meet with them and their caregivers to understand college applications and financial aid, and plan and lead college access clinics. To thrive in this job, you must have experience advising students around college applications, financial aid and scholarships.

  • You care deeply about empowering underserved students to be the first in their families to go to college
  • You have experience advising students on college applications and financial aid applications
  • You have experience managing a caseload of students, preferably students from underserved communities
  • You are comfortable utilizing data to inform your work and to make improvements to better serve students
  • You enjoy coordinating and leading events and workshops for students, ranging from college tours to personal statement workshops
  • You are comfortable working site hours 11AM-7PM Monday-Friday

This position is full-time exempt with a full compensation range of $58,392 - $87,600 with the exact compensation depending on experience. As someone new to the role, you can expect an offer between $71,530 - $75,910 to ensure internal equity while leaving room for salary growth during your time in the position.
