Legal Associate

Williams & Jensen, a Washington, D.C.-based law and lobbying firm, is seeking a legal associate to join the firm.

In this role, you will work on legislative, regulatory, and judicial matters related to financial services, tax- and fiduciary-related retirement issues, and pensions, among other legal and policy issues including environmental liability matters. Experience in these specific areas is not a requirement. However, the candidate should be prepared that his/her primary scope of work will be devoted to these areas.

The ideal candidate is a licensed lawyer with 2-3 years of professional experience, excellent legal research skills, as well as the ability to draft documents and articles that explain complex legal issues in layman’s terms.

The salary range for the position is $90,000 to $120,000 with benefits.
