Position Description

Advertised Job Summary
The Department of Political Science at the University of South Carolina seeks applications for a nine month, full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Public Administration or Public Policy, to begin August 16, 2024. We seek candidates with well-conceived, theoretically informed research agendas who have published in or demonstrate the promise of publishing in leading outlets. The position is open with regard to substantive specialization.

Required Education and Experience
A Ph.D. in political science, public administration, or closely related field of study is required by the start date of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications
Successful candidates will be able to teach courses in public administration or public policy, especially in our Master of Public Administration Program.
