Research and Design Associate

The Shared Humanity Project was founded in 2020 to challenge the status quo approach to poverty in the U.S. and to replace it with one that works. We are currently seeking to hire a part-time Research and Design Associate to support myriad projects of the organization, as well as to help with data visualization and communications.

Responsibilities include:

1. Researching - with a critical eye - the latest data on poverty, both nationally and on state and local levels
2. Developing graphic representation of data, to include bar charts, line graphs, infographics, maps, and more - for website use and presentations

The schedule is part-time, three days a week, from about 11:00 - 4:00, with modifications possible. A middle-of-the-day schedule is desired.

This is a remote position. As such, the candidate should have ease of video conferencing and a demonstrated ability to be productive working from home.
