Job Description
The Northeast Outreach Field Representative is a liaison for Senator Warnock’s office and works under the direct supervision of the Northeast Outreach Director. The Field Representative works with government officials and entities, businesses, non-profit organizations, economic development entities, constituents, and other key stakeholders in assigned region.
The Northeast region consists of 31 counties – 14 of the counties represent rural areas of Georgia while 17 of the counties are urban/metro areas. The largest counties in the region are DeKalb, Gwinnett, and Rockdale counties. Cities include Athens, Gainesville, and Conyers. The Field Representative will work across diverse communities and geographic areas, including large swaths of rural Georgia.
The Northeast Outreach Field Representative is a front-facing position with regular interactions with the public and requires frequent regional travel. The Northeast Outreach Field Representative ideally has:
- Familiarity with the assigned region, the State, or has ties to the region/State (rural and metro);
- Experience with diverse communities in Georgia, including urban, suburban, and rural areas;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and expect regular travel throughout the assigned region. Travel includes occasional air travel and driving distances of up to 350 miles;
- Flexible schedule with standard Monday thru Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM hours with occasional nights and weekends;
This is a non-partisan, full-time entry-level position and requires regular travel throughout the assigned region and occasional commitments on evenings and weekends. Compensation commensurate on experience. Federal benefits package includes retirement, health, dental, and vision, PTO, and per diem and mileage reimbursement, based on federal government guidelines.
