Senator Jack Reed seeks a legislative assistant to cover immigration, homeland security, foreign relations, veterans, and technology issues. 

Applicants should have at least two years of relevant Capitol Hill experience or policy expertise in order to quickly develop and implement an agenda that advances the senator’s legislative and policy goals. The position calls for an individual who can balance the demands of a broad issue portfolio and develop strong working partnerships with a variety of committees, stakeholders, and constituents. Qualified candidates must possess excellent writing and verbal communication abilities, strong analytical and research skills, astute political judgement, and a good sense of humor.
