The Committee on Energy and Natural Resources is accepting applications for an experienced, detailed oriented press secretary. Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, drafting press materials and social media posts on in-depth policy issues, responding to press inquiries, coordinating press events, developing relations with national and energy reporters, and working with committee staff to develop press plans to communicate the Chairman’s priorities. The applicant must be a strong writer and editor, eager to learn but prepared to hit the ground running, a team player and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
