Senator Martin Heinrich (D-NM) seeks a Constituent Services Representative, to be based in his Albuquerque Office. Primary duties include problem-solving individual constituent casework, particularly related to Veterans Affairs; answering casework correspondence; meeting and talking on the phone with constituents, and serving as a liaison with federal, state, and local agencies.

The ideal candidate has strong ties to New Mexico, is bilingual in English and Spanish, has a background in social work, and is professional, resourceful, and possesses strong administrative, organizational, clerical and communications skills. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn other software applications as needed. The position will be based in the Senator’s Albuquerque office and is expected to be fully COVID-vaccinated unless an accommodation is granted.
