Digital Director

Senator Martin Heinrich (D-NM) seeks a Digital Director to develop and execute strategies to engage with constituents and stakeholders on social media platforms and online. Key duties include creating digital copy, videos, and graphics, developing and updating the senator’s website, tracking social media analytics, identifying news hooks, staying abreast of media trends and capabilities, assisting with the development and execution of media plans, organizing press conferences and events, and travel, as needed.

The ideal candidate is a creative, service oriented, collaborative, and highly organized person with design platform (e.g. Adobe Photoshop or Canva) and basic video editing software experience. Position requires keen attention to detail and strong work ethic, able to excel in a fast-paced environment. Our team values strong written and oral communications skills, a can-do attitude, and a demonstrated ability to distill complex policy issues into authentic communication. Ties to New Mexico and/or fluency in Spanish are a significant plus.
